Good Saju is a free web service that lets anyone analyze their Four Pillars chart in depth, grounded in the classical principles of Ming Li astrology. We combined an accurate calculation engine with rich interpretation so that even readers new to the tradition can approach it comfortably.
Our goal
The wisdom of Saju (Four Pillars) astrology has accumulated for over a millennium across East Asia. Yet because of its Chinese terminology and intricate structure, many people only encounter fragmentary readings without truly understanding their own charts.
This service is built on accurate calendrical calculation and brings together the core elements of Ming Li analysis: the four pillars, the five elements, the Ten Gods, the Useful God, the twelve life stages, sinsal, geokguk, hap-chung-hyung-pa-hae, hidden stems, voids, Napeum elements, and the Daeun / Seun / Wolun cycles.

What the analysis covers
Four Pillars: accurate computation of year, month, day, and hour pillars (with automatic lunar/solar conversion).

Our stance on Ming Li astrology
Saju is not a tool for predicting fate but a mirror for self-understanding. By learning your strengths, weaknesses, fortunate phases, and times that demand caution, you can make wiser decisions in life.
The results offered here are reference information based on traditional theory and must not be used as the basis for medical, legal, or financial decisions. Life is ultimately shaped by your own choices and effort.
How we calculate and verify
Year and month pillars are set from the exact solar-term transition times, and the day pillar from the calendar day's stem and branch.
Calendar results were checked against the daily stem-branch and lunar calendar data published by the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) for a sample of 4,138 days from 1920 to 2050, with full agreement, and against hundreds of charts from two independent almanac services. These comparisons rerun automatically whenever the code changes.
Strength assessment and the Useful God differ between schools, so the result screen shows the reasoning behind them (strength score, geokguk, seasonal adjustment).
